Getting started

What is Shoe Box?

Shoe Box is a calm, fast app for cataloguing the shoes you own and remembering what size you wear in every brand — so you stop guessing when you shop online.

How much does it cost?

Nothing — Shoe Box is completely free. There's no subscription, no paywall, and no in-app purchases.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone and Android. Your shoebox syncs securely across your devices when you sign in.

Adding shoes

How do I add a pair?

Tap the + button, pick the brand, pick the model, set the size, and choose how it fits (Tight, Perfect or Loose). It takes about ten seconds.

My brand or model isn't in the list.

Choose "Request" and submit the name. Your shoe is saved straight away, and we review the request and add it to the shared catalogue. We curate brands and models on purpose — it keeps everyone's sizing data clean and reliable.

How do I edit or remove a shoe?

Open any shoe card to view its details, where you can delete the pair. Removing a shoe takes it out of your shoebox immediately.

Sizes & fit

Which size systems can I use?

US Men's, US Women's, UK, EU and JP (cm). You can set a preferred system in your profile and still record any individual shoe in the system printed on its label.

Why record the fit?

A size 10 that pinches isn't really your 10. Marking each pair Tight, Perfect or Loose makes your shoebox a far more reliable reference.

Account & sign-in

How do I sign in?

Use Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or your email address with a one-time code. There's no password to remember.

I didn't get my email code.

Check your spam or promotions folder first. Make sure you entered the right address, then request a new code. Still stuck? Email support@shoe-box.app.

Privacy

Who can see my shoes?

Only you. Your individual shoebox is private and is never shown to other users. We use anonymised, aggregated patterns to improve Shoe Box for everyone, but that can never identify you. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Delete your account & data

You can permanently delete your Shoe Box account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways:

  • In the app (recommended): open Profile → Delete account, then confirm. This immediately and permanently removes your profile and every shoe you've logged.
  • By email: if you can't access the app, email support@shoe-box.app from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify it's you and complete the deletion, usually within 7 days.

What gets deleted: your account, profile and all of your logged shoes. What may remain: fully anonymised, aggregated sizing statistics that can no longer identify you, and any records we're required to keep by law. See the Privacy Policy for details.
